Mixing with people in the renewable energy industry is always stimulating due to their energy, ideas, and positive viewpoint. Pilbara Solar’s Dr Geoff James presented at the Pilbara Summit on 23-24 June which was held in Perth this year. Geoff spoke about Aboriginal opportunities in renewable energy; and shared technology sponsorship profile with Boundary Power and CPS National. Following the presentation, there was a wider acceptance and understanding of Pilbara Solar’s commercial model, with Aboriginal equity participation in renewable energy projects. It was also great to hear the Hon Alannah MacTiernan MLC, Minister for Regional Development; Agriculture and Food; Hydrogen Industry, express her support of Aboriginal equity share at the summit.
